Cultivating Resilience Through Nutrition and Lifestyle is a practical  workshop that explores resilience from the inside out, starting with the body. Rather than treating resilience as a mindset alone, this session shows how physical wellbeing creates the essential foundations for increased self-awareness, clarity of thought and effective leadership behaviours.

Led by Becca Meadows,  leadership consultant and nutritional therapist, this session reveals how rest, nourishment, energy balance and recovery shape your capacity to handle stress and your ability to recalibrate quickly when challenges arise.

Using the Resilient Leaders Elements™ model, we look at resilience through the lens of who you are and what you do, helping women understand their strengths, stress triggers and recovery patterns. Participants learn how simple physical wellbeing strategies can dramatically expand their resilience bandwidth, improving performance and overall wellbeing.

what it will cover

1. What Is Resilience and what role does our health play?

We unpack what resilience is and why physical wellbeing is the foundation on which true resilience grows. We challenge the belief that resilience is simply “bouncing back” or mental toughness.

2. Who I Am vs. What I Do: The Heart of the Resilient Leaders Elements™

We cover why resilience starts with self, introducing the four RLE elements that make up resilience. We map how physical wellbeing supports each element. 

3. Understanding Your Stress Threshold

We cover the science behind your nervous system and how the body signals depletion vs. stability and why the ability to move in and out of stress depends on physical readiness first not just mental state. 

4. Opportunity in Stress

We look at different forms of stress and when stress actually strengthens you. We look at the evidence showing how rest, nutrition and recovery build stress capacity yet are so underutilised as stress management strategies. 

5. Eating for Resilience: Food as a Performance & Recovery Tool

A deeper dive into simple nutrition strategies for building energy and resilience daily.

  • Insight into how rest, recovery, nourishment and energy balance expand their capacity to handle stress and shorten the time it takes to recalibrate after challenge.

  • A practical understanding of the Resilient Leaders Elements™ and how physical wellbeing strengthens each domain, including clarity of direction, leadership presence, awareness and resilient decision making. 

  • Tools to identify their personal stress thresholds and the early physical cues that show they’re moving from pressure to stress.

  • Evidence-based strategies for rest, nutrition and micro-rest that support resilience in everyday life .
