Food for the family

A child-focused nutrition workshop for families, parents and carers.

Family nutrition is one of the biggest wellbeing challenges for modern parents. Children are growing up in a world that is noisy, fast, ultra-processed and full of conflicting health messages.

Food for the Family is a practical and down to earth workshop designed to help families understand what children actually need nutritionally, why it matters, and how to make healthy eating realistic in busy homes.

Drawing on evidence around nutrient deficiencies, malnutrition, cognitive development and long-term health outcomes, this session reframes food not as perfection or pressure, but as a simple tool for supporting children’s energy, mood, learning, behaviour and future wellbeing.

Led by Becca Meadows MSc, nutritional therapist and wellbeing strategist, this workshop blends science with everyday practicality. Parents leave with confidence, clarity and a toolkit of doable strategies that make feeding a family easier, not harder.

Delivered in-person on online.
